No one will help me figure out a payment plan that is manageable or give me advice. They want almost a G a month! Help…there has to be a program out there that can help me.

I have a car loan out that is now at 82, unfortunately I have a high interest rate of 15%. My plan was to have it paid off in 2012 but, I would like to try for the end of this year or the middle of next year (I know that seems really hard but it really is a burden). I’ve tried selling the car but didn’t get many calls even though I set the price lower than KBB value….my question is does anyone know what I could possibly do to pay the loan off as soon as possible. I can’t refinance for another year because I don’t have much of a credit history…so that really doesn’t help.
My plan is to try to make higher my payments….and maybe if I get the loan low enough I could do a balance transfer of the remaining loan to a 0% APR credit card for as many months possible (..if anyone knows where I can find a 0% APR credit card for at least 8 months please let me know). If anyone has any other suggestion PLEASE let me know!

I owe ,000 and am earning approx. ,000 after being in the field of study for 18 years. My credit as a result of owing these loans is completely ruined. Nobody but myself to blame, except they sure make it easy to get the money and then they hunt you down like a dog. Is there any way to get out of this debt. h#@$?

I bought a used car last July that’s nickel and diming me and now I’m ready for a new car. Final purchase price of the car was K total, including financing interest. Sticker was about K. This first year of ownership has cost me K, including down payment and monthly payments. However, Kelly Blue Book trade in value for my vehicle right now is a miserable K. So, even if I sold my car now for K, I’d still owe about K on the loan I’d have to pay out of my own pocket. And, on top of that I’d have no car. Any help in how I might get a new car and make it work financially?

I’m paying off a lot of credit card debt and currently have my student loans in a deferral status. But the big monthly payments will start up again at the end of this year.

Aside from trying to "drop off the radar screen" or looking for a much better-paying job that would quickly burn me out, I’m curious if anybody has any leads on this matter.

PS: Don’t recommend declaring bankruptcy because student loan debt is exempt from that.

I went through a bad divorce that screwed up my credit. I have made all of the payments on the loan but its making me get behind on other bills. I make good money but cant afford to keep paying 0 every two weeks on the interest payments which dont make the loan any smaller.

I have ,000 of student loans. I am in grad school and still have one year to go. My field, library sciences, does not guarantee work, especially in this economy. I am training to be an EMT basic. This pays per hour to start. I dont want to take out any more loans but I fear that I might have to in order to keep my other loans in deferrment. I live in my own apartment and don’t have parents to move back in with.

My husband and I have dug a bigger hole with payday loans, trying for a quick solution. We are now over extended and need to figure a way out without going further in debt with the bills we had originally on top of the pay day loans we’ve accumulated.
