Someone got ahold of my credit/debt card # online and way overdrew my account and ruined my credit history and now all my bills are past due.

1 – Get a new credit cards and change all your passwords.
2 – file a report with the police about the identy theft so you have a record of it.
3 – Contact all the places you owe money to and explain the problem. They will want to know the number of the police report. Ask for an extension on the payments, or to give partial payments.
4 – Contact the credit reporting agencies and ask them to place a “block” on your records so no one can open any credit in your name, and dispute the findings.

Well you first step is to get the fraudulent charges removed from your credit card statement. You are protected from someone using your Credit Card# on-line. Dispute the charges and those bills should be removed.
For your Debit card again most banks will reverse any fraudulent charges on your card, once you prove that you did not give out your PIN#.
Other than have it may mean tightening your belt for a while and pay down the debts, or consider a 2nd job for a while.

Katymay,
There’s a good article at eHow on steps to take to begin tackling your debt. Take a look at it:
How to Stop Escalating Debt
You can also look here for tips on earning some extra cash online:
How to make money on the internet, scam-free
Lastly, here’s an interesting alternative to conventional lending…getting a “social networking” loan from Virgin Money (from the same folks who run Virgin Airlines):

Hope these help.

you dont, they want you to be in debt for a long time its there job, i got a personal loan throught BOA paid off all my cards and soon spent too much on them again, its a vicious cycle the only true way out of debt is to cut them off and pay more than the minimum good luck.
